Despite the weather of Wednesday evening, the coaches from Hellingly HoundDogs were on hand to help over 20 kids from the local area train and develope their skills in the wet weather that the skys chose to bless us with.
The team of 6 coaches put the players through their paces as the rain continued to particiapte from the heavens.
The Flag age groups worked on their throwing techniques whilst the U17's and U19's were split into their positional groups and worked on different skills from catching and ball security in the rain, along with tackling and some linework.
The Hounddogs are still recruiting more player for the up coming season with the kitted teams dates to be announced soon. However, the Flag teams 1st outing should be away at Kent Exiles on March the 17th, as long as the weather permits it.
We were set up in May of 2016 to offer all children the chance to play and train in the sport of American Football. Since our formation we have expanded to running four teams, U11's and U14's in Flag (non-contact)...
