Over the last few weeks, one of our colleagues has been looking at quite a few websites of business owners just like you.
He was looking at reasons visitors weren’t converting into enquiries or sales.
In a lot of cases, it wasn’t that the service or product being offered wasn’t any good.
It was a combination of things not being simple to find, being in the wrong place, or just easy to miss.
People had videos, but they were hidden at the bottom of the page rather than displaying at the top.
Headlines were just a bit too basic such as “Welcome to Business_name” – Instead of a headline that grabs attention and positions the company well.
Or call-to-action buttons for booking a call or appointment were not standing out - making it difficult for visitors to take the next step.
Even things like phone numbers that weren’t clickable on mobile, making it difficult for people to call the business.
Little things that can easily be resolved and increase the number of enquiries for these businesses.
Do you have a video on your website and is it easily seen at the top of your page?
Could your headlines or introduction statements position you better or be more relevant for your ideal customers?
Do your call-to-action buttons stand out? – try testing bright colours like red, bright green or orange and see what colour gets more clicks.
Are your contact numbers clickable on mobile?
These “little things” can be quick to sort but have a noticeable difference in conversion rates on your website.
