People of all ages and abilities can attend our new online exercise classes, led by Possability People staff member, Cat Sullivan.
The classes consist of easy to follow lower body exercises completed in a controlled manner, as well as some gentle upper body exercises too.
Anyone worried that they might be too much can be reassured that there is no getting on or off the floor. So if you do have limited mobility, it's still a class you should be able to do.
All that is required is a sturdy chair with some space around it, comfortable clothes and if possible, non slip shoes.
The class will take place once a week (up to an hour of exercise per session) virtually over Zoom. Anyone over the age of 16 is able to join. You do not have to make all the classes to join and are welcome to drop in on any of them.
Classes run on:
These classes are free. However, if you are financially able to, we welcome any donation you feel you can make to our charity as we rely on this support to continue to offer our services to the community.

What our participants say:
"The exercises are very accessible, with a range of options clearly explained and demonstrated so you can do what is right for you. Cat is a brilliant trainer, giving us lots of encouragement and support and changing exercises from class to class to keep us (quite literally) on our toes. Undertaking exercises and physio alone can be challenging, so having a regular welcoming and supportive environment in which to exercise and learn with others is amazing."
Booking is essential for receiving the link to the class. Book here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/steady-strong-gentle-exercise-class-tickets-162794254999
If you have any further questions, our friendly instructor Cat will be happy to answer them. She can be reached on 01273 069 850 (please leave a message) or email: Cat@possabilitypeople.org.uk
