As Christmas approaches, Warming Up the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who can spare a few hours each week to help us make a difference. If you're looking for a rewarding way to give back, we’d love to welcome you to our volunteer team.

Volunteer Opportunities Available:

1. Drivers: Join Our Merry Driving Crew

We are in need of drivers to assist with the following:

Daytime or Early Evening: Choose hours that fit your schedule.
Delivering Welfare Parcels: Provide essentials to the homeless community.
Transporting Items: Help deliver goods to and from our charity shops.
Food Collections: Pick up food donations in the evenings.
Requirements: Volunteers must have a clean driving licence, be willing to undergo short training courses, and complete a DBS check (which we cover). You will also be driving our charity vans and based primarily in Bexhill.

2. Charity Shop and Sorting Volunteers

We also need kind-hearted volunteers for:

Charity Shops: Assist in our Bexhill-based shops.
Sorting Area: Help at our distribution centre with organising donations.
Outreach Services: Volunteer for our outreach services in Eastbourne and our day centre in Hastings, supporting the local homeless community.
