What are home improvements you may ask it ca mean different things to different people, a phone call from a customer recently asking if we did decorating! as she said that was home improvement.
As we say we can make your dream home a reality and decorating a room or two would make someone’s home their dream home. It can be that simple a new colour scheme, new accessories such as curtains, pictures or even just a change around with your existing furniture can make all the difference. Obviously it could be something more major such as a new kitchen, bathroom or extension to your home.
Some projects you may feel able to tackle yourself but if d.i.y isn’t your thing then perhaps you need to look around for a company that can help you.
Someone told me recently that they weren’t good a d.i.y they were nailing down some wooden floorboards but had to call out a plumber to fix a leak in a pipe. The plumber said that I had done well and only managed to 5 out of the 6 nails in the offending pipe!
Or the gentleman who thought he would change a light bulb but came back minutes later with just the glass part of the bulb in his hand, the other part was still in the light fitting.
