Despte the fact that it has been yet another strange and difficult year for many people, Concentus was pleased to return to full public performances in the summer of 2022. We couldn't be more grateful to those of you who came to see, and hear, us this year. It was a truly emotional experience for every member of the choir to be able to perform live music in front of an audience once again.
For 2022 we chose a new charity, as we do every year, for whom we were pleased to raise funds. We felt that the Children With Cancer Fund, based in Willingdon, was a very deserving local cause. As I write this, the total amount we collected on their behalf is still being counted, but we know that every penny will be appreciated and used to help children with cancer and their families. We'll be choosing a new local charity in January for whom we will raise funds in 2023.
As always, we welcomed new members into the choir in 2022, but will still be eagerly awaiting the arrival of more in 2023. If you, or anyone you know, is looking to join a choir local to Eastbourne, please do get in touch.
