The Polegate Scarecrows Community Fund is searching for donations of food and essential items including hygiene items from soap to sanitiser from tissues to toothpaste along with stationary to support the pupils of Polegate School!
The Polegate Scarecrows Community Fund say “Our 'Bags of Goodness' scheme first launched for Christmas in 2020 and we now accept donations to the appeal through our Amazon Wish List 365 days of the year, which also directly supports Hailsham Foodbank by answering their urgent need for items they have run out off!
When we receive donations from individuals or businesses, we store all the items and when we believe one of our packages can benefit someone or a family, we will get in touch with them and see how we can help them as an individual!
From stationery and books, warm clothes and blankets to foods and luxuries recipients of our packages are supported with the items they may need plus some extra items to brighten their day!
We also support those who go above and beyond simply to help others, we deliver and donate support packages to emergency service workers, emergency volunteers and a range of key workers keeping us going.”
