Over the years, I’ve worked alongside people navigating grief, change, and uncertainty — always aiming to offer a safe, supportive space to talk things through. I’m now bringing that same approach into the workplace with a new service: Non-Religious Pastoral Support for teams and employers in Eastbourne and the surrounding area.
This kind of support sits somewhere between counselling and HR, but without formal diagnosis or any ties to workplace procedures. It’s a way to offer familiarity, a listening ear, and a professional distance that allows people to speak openly — free from judgement, pressure, or consequence.
I’m a Volunteer Chaplain for the NHS, a trained Grief & Change Counsellor, a Dialogue Lead, and a Mental Health First Aider. I offer less formal, professional, and confidential support that helps reduce the mental and emotional load people often carry into work with them. These concerns can affect wellbeing, productivity, and team dynamics — and often go unspoken.
From personal struggles to moments of change or stress, having someone available to talk with can make all the difference. I’m here to offer that presence — flexible, non-religious, and grounded in empathy and experience.
If you’re an employer who wants to genuinely support the people who keep your business going, I’d love to talk about how this service could benefit your team.
