Prioritising community testing in East Sussex - request to complete survey
2nd February 2021

Community testing is being rolled out in East Sussex to identify people who unknowingly have Covid-19. Testing of people without symptoms (asymptomatic) will enable anyone unknowingly carrying the virus to isolate, along with their contacts thus reducing the spread of the virus in the community.

To make best use of resources and provide fast and effective testing, East Sussex County Council need to prioritise key groups within our community who would be eligible.

They want to hear from you if your business or organisation:

  • Employs staff who work with people at greater risk if they contract Covid-19 - Those at higher risk from coronavirus (COVID-19) - NHS (www.nhs.uk)
  • Have staff who cannot do their job from home.

Please complete this short survey to help them identify the number of people within your organisation that you feel would benefit from community testing. It takes no more than ten minutes to complete the survey and will allow them to make effective regular testing available to as many people as possible to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The survey will only be open for a short time and closes on the Sunday 7 February, as community testing needs to start as soon as possible and they would appreciate only one member of the team/organisation or business to complete this survey to avoid duplication. If your organisation has already been contacted by public health for numbers or you are already part of a regular testing scheme please do not respond.
