Russ Deacon Home Improvements are incredibly pleased and thankful for the wonderful turnout of the Macmillan coffee morning that they held on Friday 29th September 2017. They managed to raise a huge total of £405 that is going towards developing lifesaving treatment, and to providing financial and emotional support for those with cancer.
Unfortunately, many of us can say that we know someone that has been affected by cancer, which is why fundraising events like these are so important. Without the financial support of donations, charities like Macmillan simply cannot continue to carry out their life-saving research and support to those with cancer.
Last year, Macmillan invested over £170 Million into improving the lives of those with cancer which was almost entirely raised through the kindness and generosity of people through fundraising events like these.
