On Saturday 4th September the weather was on our side as we hosted the first of our ‘family afternoon tea in the garden’ events. We wanted to bring together our residents and their loved ones to say thank you for all their kindness and support over the last 18 months.
We are still currently unable to welcome residents’ loved ones into our home, so we decided to have afternoon tea in the garden instead. To ensure everyone’s safety we are hosting two events so that guests are spread across the two days.
It was so lovely to welcome people back into our grounds and to see faces we haven’t seen in such a long time. we all agree it was a truly special afternoon and seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces made it all worthwhile. We cannot wait for next one.
