Tall and rangy is stature, Tom joined rangers in August 2011 after the management team endured a vigorous scouting mission to find a young, confident centre half to bolster the squad. Tom fits this mould and has offered confident displays on the pitch backed up by a confident personality off of it. His various footballing qualities include being able to read the game well, being strong in the air and being able to play some good football on the deck. In his “younger” days, Tom played for and captained Old Town boys which later became Eastbourne Town youth. After not featuring as much as he would have liked last term, Tribe is determined to make a starting spot his own this year. Drawing blanks in last years stats, Tribe pick up 2 goals including a left footed THUNDERBOLT from the edge of the penalty area in the 2011/12 season. Although normally a fairly quite lad, Tommo shocked his rangers team mates during 2011/12 champions league cup final with some very uncharacteristic outbursts while watching his beloved Chelsea. Some would say this is the most vocal he’s ever been!
