The Small Grant Scheme is for grants between £500 - £3000.
The Capital Scheme is for grants between £1000 - £10,000. The match funding required can now be entirely "in-kind" such as volunteer time, member contributions etc.
A limited number of 40 minute pre-application advice sessions, will take place during office hours as follows:
Uckfield - Tuesday 11th Oct (am)
Crowborough - Friday 14th Oct (pm) and Monday 17th Oct (am)
Hailsham - Thursday 20th Oct (am) and Wed 2nd Nov (pm)
Forest Row – Tuesday 1st Nov (am)
Sessions must be booked in advance and are to directly discuss a drafted application for your organisation. Please contact me by email or telephone (01323) 443520.
If you are unable to attend one of the sessions and can submit your application so that it reaches me by 15th November at the latest, I will do my best to give you some feedback before the closing date so that you can strengthen your application (although please note that this will not guarantee success).
I have also attached a poster advertising the programme – please feel free to display it in any village hall or other community building, or anywhere else where it might be useful. If you would like me to send you some hard copies, please let me know.
Detailed information about Eligibility and Conditions are given within the application forms. Funds for capital and small grants must be spent within the financial year April 2017 - March 2018. Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 30th November 2016.
Please contact me if you have any other questions, or if you would like a hard copy of an application form to be sent to you. You are welcome to check with me whether your project is the type of thing we might fund through the programme before you complete an application form, especially if we have recently funded your organisation.
Please note that I am on leave from 9th Sept – 16th Sept inclusive and I will allocate requests for pre-application appointments received in my absence in the order in which they were received.
