After serval calls last week from customers around the town centre and surrounding areas, some households have been affected by either no signal or intermittent signal.
After investigating and speaking with Freeview directly we have found out there are some planned works being carried out this week on their transmitters in this area which we believe are in preparation for the update coming on the 18th July 2018.
As mentioned above you may experience your TV channels becoming fussy or pixelated or possibly getting no picture on your channels.
If you haven't already we would recommend re-tuning your TV, some of the new TV's do this automatically but it's always good every so often to give it a reboot.
For any new or existing customers who are worried, we are taking down contact details to provide updates regarding the transmitter works and advising whether or not they need an engineer visit, to sit tight or give their TV a re-tune.
