The Eastbourne Carnival was a big success and Team YRMU did us proud

We have so many people we need to thank and without them we would never have been able to pull this all together, so thank you to

Dave & Jennie Dobbs and JWD Removals

Jason Ruth and LWC for the float

Mark, Tyler & Freddie - the driver and his boys

Koly Scaffolding

Kirste Sargeant and family and the Kingsmere Community Centre

Emily Maguire for designing the butterfly - Emily tells us what inspried her amazing creation which had the names of the children lost and whos's families we help and support handwritten on it

"156 names written with unconditional love. 156 families supported. 156 lives taken too soon.

It was an absolute honour to design and make this butterfly for the You Raise Me Up float at Eastbourne carnival over the last few weeks.

Thank you to everyone who paper mache, stuck, glued, painted and wrote - we couldn't have done it without you.

To all the children who shone down on us yesterday; thank you for giving us all the ongoing courage to smile, dance and spread the word of this amazing charity - this was all for you"

Sue Maguire for all her craft help

Lindsey from Spoonangels Fabrics for the special bunting which had the names of the children handwritten on each flag as a lasting memory.

Power - Selmeston Service Station and #Nisa and #MADL for sponsoring

Everyone who helped with the prep over the past 4 weeks.

Everyone who walked and joined on Saturday including our wheel marshals and of course our Lesley for all her hard work and organisation of the whole thing
