Kings Church Hampden Park currently meets in the Kings Centre, which is also a fully equipped conference and event facility. Our main auditorium seats 650 people and is equipped with the latest audio and visual presentation equipment. There are a number of other rooms that we use for our Creche, Children’s and Youth programmes on Sunday and throughout the week. We also have two further halls including a fully equipped sports hall. Our meetings start at 9am and 11am.
The Kings Centre has full disabled access, good parking and is within easy reach of the main roads into Eastbourne and Hampden Park railway stations.
Kings Centro meets in the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, located right in the heart of the town centre on Seaside Road. It is a beautiful 130 year old Victorian opera house with 500 usable seats and some fantastic acoustics. It is a great venue for our Sunday morning services. Each week our services are translated (via headset) into Spanish, Polish and Portugese. Our meetings start at 10am and last approximately an hour and half, with an interval mid way through (in classic theatre style!) with free snacks and refreshments. Our meetings are times for worship, equipping, giving, informing and friendship.
