LTC Eastbourne is in a beautiful 18th Century mansion that used to be home to the Dukes of Devonshire.
Set in its own 10-hectare park, our school is just 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of Eastbourne and from the beach. Eastbourne is a thriving holiday resort that attracts over four million visitors every year and is located just 90 minutes from London.
LTC is a large but very friendly school, that runs English language courses for adult students and courses for closed groups all year round. We also run a residential summer school for young learners age 10-16.
We welcome students from more than 30 countries every year.
We are accredited by the British Council, certified by the Independent Schools Inspectorate and members of English UK. We pride ourselves on the quality of our services and the caring attitude of our staff. All our teachers have a recognised English language teaching qualification.
Our Courses
For adult students (age 16+)
- General English 20 or 28 lessons per week
- General English + IELTS Examination Practice
- Cambridge FCE Exam Preparation
- Individual Tuition
Adult students can start any Monday (except bank holidays) and study for anything between one week and 48 weeks.
For young learners (age 10-16)
- Young Learner Summer School (mid-June to late August)
- Courses for closed groups at any time of year
Most Summer School students study for one to four weeks. Closed group courses are usually between one and four weeks.
Accommodation
- Residential dormitory accommodation for young learners age 10-16
- Homestay accommodation for students age 13+. Outside the summer, our homestay is always within a 35-minute walk of the school
We welcome friendly and welcoming host families in Old Town, Upperton, the town centre, Seaside, Saffrons and Meads. In summer we also work with families further afield but always within Eastbourne itself.
