Our History 

The story of the Polegate Community Foundation began in November 2019 when the first-ever Scarecrow Festival took place in the charming town of Polegate. The festival not only brought smiles to people's faces but also showcased the incredible creativity and community spirit that Polegate holds.

Following two successful Scarecrow Festivals, the idea to establish a community fund took root. In November 2022, the Polegate Community Foundation was officially formed with the aim of channelling the community's enthusiasm and support into meaningful projects that benefit local causes.
