Nestled on the outskirts of the South Downs near Eastbourne, Polegate Rambling Club, established in 1969, initially as Polegate Field Paths Preservation Society, safeguards local walking rights. Originally costing "half a crown" (12.5p), our 150-160 member club hosts fortnightly rambles on Thursdays. Open to all, especially retirees, for trial walks before membership.
A dedicated Committee oversees our activities, elected annually at the AGM. Experience the joy of walking with us!
