Very cool bedroom on a cold day. The food was acceptable. Staff helpful and the entertainment very good quality. Very convenient location right on the sea front. Reasonable room rates.

I stayed in 232 The bed was so uncomfortable, there was a unmarked step into the bathroom, the toilet was too close to the wall which had a large toilet roll holder right next to it so you couldn't sit on it properly, the towel warmer didn't work, the electric heater didn't' work that well, room service was ok they didn't hoover the or give clean mugs.

Waited an hour after check in time for room . But i would rather wait for a clean room in a pandemic than rush them. Really friendly staff . Can't do enough to help you out . Well turned out comfortable rooms and spacious. Value for money .

Just come back from at great holiday , big room had a bath , a shower comfy bed , coffee machine , breakfast was nice lots of choice, the staff were fab , josh on the bar the receptionists the breakfast staff all were lovely definitely would stay here again made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in dont

This is a Shearings hotel which caters for its coach tours and self drive holidays, mainly three, four and seven day breaks and used mostly by senior citizens​.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and well run with friendly, hard working staff. The food was good, well presented without having to wait.
Our room was great overlooking the promenade and seafront with a good view of the pier. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
