Spotted this was dog friendly due to the dog bowls outside. Not found too many places in Eastbourne that are so far. Had a lamb burger from the specials board which was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff and tasty food. There was table service for food which is really helpful when you are by yourself and managing nervous dogs. Would highly recommend.

This was our first visit to the pub to eat a meal. The atmosphere was very welcoming with a comprehensive menu. The fish and chips were excellent as we're the other dishes.
My only small criticism would be that my baked potato was very small compared to what I was expecting and what was served to my daughter. It resembled a normal small boiling/mashing potato. The filling however, was scrumptious. A very pleasant meal, relaxing surroundings.

Lovely pub, great food. Can get very noisy especially if sports on TV (and very busy) but apart from that, friendly people and they often have live music which is normally very good. Would recommend booking a table though!

Booked a table for 4 as we know it can be popular, all had different meal choices and each one was delicious 😋 the atmosphere, staff, prices, quality etc are all good and we will definitely be visiting many more times to try the other menu options 😀

We prebooked sunday lunch as we were a large party. The food was lovely but the wait was very long, i would say we waited about an hour and the service wasn't that great. We sat upstairs opposite the bar and the bargirl with the dark hair spent more time brushing her hair behind the bar than actually doing any work. A little bit more attention to detail required.

Called in for a quick drink. Surprised by the price for 3 drinks (One of which was a soft drink).....Well above the average we paid for our time in Eastbourne.

Was staying round the corner, popped in for a drink on bank holiday Monday. The wine was lovely and competitively priced but we did think the lager was expensive. But the atmosphere is so good and a real mixture of people there. We ended up eating as well and wasn't disappointed with our homemade burgers. Staff very welcoming and all in all we had a very nice evening there.

Really good friendly staff all helpful and welcoming. The food is excellent value. Good sports bar area and live music too. What more could you ask for!!!! Sat in the bar drinking Peroni as I write this review.....What more could you ask for!!!😁

positioned about 5 minutes walk from the pier and in a good central location, just a bit back from the beach front. It has an extensive vegan menu with lots of options which is great. Also dog friendly. Was very busy when we visited but food arrived in good time. They also had a live band on in the evening.
The vegan chilli was fantastic with nachos and chips, only downside my partner was put off that his fish and chips still had the skin on, however said it was tasty regardless.
