We hired this venue for 3 separate day events using the function room. From the beginning correspondence was fantastic, the events team were quick to answer all of our questions and deal with all of our requirements. They told us they did the best buffet and town and they were not lying! The food is incredible and overall brilliant value for money. The function room is a nice size, accessible by stairs but with toilet facilities and a bar area in the same space if required. There is a good number of table and chairs and space to arrange the room as you would to suit your needs. We would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a function space in the Eastbourne Area.

My husband and I had a lovely meal I had lasagne and it was very nice and my husband had chilli and chips which was nice as well.
The staff was attentive and came to ask for your orders at your table which was unusual but nice.

Sausage and mash with Pimms. Delicious. I sat on the patio which doesn't have views, but pleasant in the sunshine at a quiet time early afternoon. Would recommend!

We were able to get a table for two even though many were reserved for Sunday lunch couples and families. Staff here are so friendly - service was excellent - you can place your order at the bar or with a server at your table. We only needed a light lunch, so had the prawn salad with warm baguette - it was really good, for under £10.
However, the other food we saw going out looked equally good, the Sunday roasts and so on.All in all, a relaxed place for a drink and meal.

Dropped in for drinks on Saturday 7th December 2019. Several tv screens showing football, which was an attraction to many customers. Felt the price of a pint of Fosters was excessive at £4.50 especially as it is not a premium lager.

Had a lunch here was very pleased with the service and the food. I recommend this pub.There was a warm fire and comfortable seating. I substantial menu is on offer and the food plentiful. Also there is a good range of beers and wines.

This is such a lovely pub and feel made very welcome.i will defentley be going back here again before I finish my holiday. I recommend this place 100% great work guys keep up the amazing work.
