My Brother and have just returned home after staying at the Sefton Hotel on an Edwards Coach Holiday. After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried what to expect but our stay was most enjoyable. We could find nothing wrong with the hotel and the food was excellent. The Manager Luke was very friendly, as were all the staff especially Steven and the new recruit Chloe in the dining room. The Hotel is ideally situated close to the pier and the town, the evening entertainment was good although not too many people participated. Thank you for a lovely holiday. As a freelance, I rely totally on a fully functioning PC and other office equipment. Andrew has rescued me many times from hardware and software failures and problems for which I am really grateful. His skill and knowledge are truly impressive and moreover, he gets issues resolved quickly and efficiently. And, unlike other IT technicians I have used in the past, his charges are very reasonable. I recommend Andrew without reservation to anyone who needs reliable and efficient IT support.

Hello,
I just wanted to take a few minutes out to pop you an e-mail to say how impressed i've been with the service from Haulaway. We ordered a skip from another local firm to start with; cutting a long story short they (rudely) refused to put it where we needed it as they weren't convinced it wasn't council land (even with the deeds). I phoned Haulaway around 9.30am asking if you had any skips available and was told yes and that I could have it the next day. I explained what had happened, and that the builders were ready to start, and the very kind lady said you were extremely busy but would do her best to get a skip to us by the afternoon. An hour later and it was with us.
Not just that, but the skip was full by yesterday afternoon (builder underestimated). I phoned to ask for another, and asked if anything could be done with the price as we'd need another 3yd, and the lady very generously let me have both 3yd skips for the price one 6yd would have been. Every penny counts right now, so i'm extrememly grateful. The full skip was taken early this monring and the new one left in it's place.
People often write e-mails/reviews for the bad stuff nowadays, and not so often the good, so I wanted to let you know how impressed i've been and say 'thank you'. What a great company.

Great location right opposite pier could be noisy in the summer
all meals in hotel were excellent no greasy breakfast to be found. Rooms were pleasant and clean would have liked my towels changed whilst at the hotel for 3 nights. Entertainment great DJ cater for all tastes plays up to his audience did't think much to singer on Sunday night and as for his jokes? Overall

Stayed here for a turkey and tinsel and enjoyed every minute. The staff are very friendly the hotel is in a great position and very well cared for.

Generally in a good location opposite the pier, but suffers from the noisy teens going to the disco on the week ends. The food is well cooked and traditional, three choices evening meal the type supplied by your mum.
Breakfast is Traditional with full English served at your table.
There is only one lift so expect to wait.
The Showers are adequate, bit of a squeeze for large persons like me, bed hard giving a good nights sleep. Rooms clean and the chambermaids hard workers.
You have the typical in house provincial entertainment.
We went in March and apart from the cats, the municipal theatres and the cinema Eastbourne is dead.

What can I say, a friend recommended The Afton Hotel to me and I was not disssapointed from the friendly welcoming staff and the general atmosphere of the hotel to the rooms which were great and I felt my needs were catered for, top marks to the kitchen staff as the food was excellent (“eat your heart out Gordon Ramsey”) my stay was perfect and I will definitely be returning in the future!

We found on arrival greeted by the manager who was friendly & helpful hotel situated opp pier which means very noisey outside this goes on through till about 2 am so you get little sleep (unless you have several Beers first) hence bedrooms at front hotel not recomended, Hotel not really.suitable for the elderly Breakfasts good eve meals poor small portions no variety eve meals are to late 6 30 means you cant get to the shows meals need to be at 6pm overal would say average

Went there with my husband and 22 year old daughter for turkey and tinsel week with Edwards coaches. Welcome great. Room quite good but bathroom could do with a really good clean. My daughter said her towels were not changed frequently. Food good but plain and could be varied a little. Entertainment average. Staff were great. I see one reviewer has said about the surly attitude of some of the staff - quite frankly I am amazed. All in all, a good family hotel. Maybe not so suitable for youngsters and people of my daughters age as most of the entertainment aimed at much older people. But having said that, my daughter said she liked the hotel and would return.
