Stayed here 1 night on Saturday. Perfectly fine for a solo traveller like me, they had parking at the back of the hotel (£6 per day) and the hotel was perfectly located just across the beach. Breakfast was good and the hotel is great value for money.
I also think it is worth mentioning Wayne from the Maintenance team. I had forgotten my phone charger cable/plug in the room and went back to the hotel in the late afternoon. They could not find it anymore but Wayne went out of his way to find me a replacement charger cable and plug ! Thanks so much - great service!

Interesting and busy gallery in the Devonshire quarter of Eastbourne. Permanent collections which are refreshed periodically and an outstanding Eric Ravillious exhibition.
Many exhibits are of a local nature.
The building it's self is superb inside and out.
The cafe/restaurant is great. Small and large plates, as well as tea.
All highly recommended

Brilliant little theatre - we were lucky to have from row dress circle and no obstruction of views - nice show - White Christmas -fun and just right whilst on a weekend break.

An absolute gem of a castle, you can feel the history and the remains are very well kept. Explore the dungeons and the other remains. A great place to visit, I certainly recommend it if you in the area

I visited with 2 young children and it was ideal as not too big! They loved being able to explore this small castle, going up and down the steps. There’s a little shop inside the castle part which you will need to pay to visit. But the curtain wall part is free and there’s a little car park right next to the entrance. Inside the paid part you have a well, latrine, obliette, dungeon, cannon balls recovered from the moat, a cannon from Tudor period and you can climb the towers.

Not one person in our group of 7 had anything bad to say about the food which is a miracle! There's plenty of room for people to spread out: garden, conservatory and bars. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Definitely worth a return visit.
