Loved my experiance here. I was made to feel very welcome by the staff when we arrived. There was some amazing dishes to choose from on the menu. Had a lovely meal and a great time, without having to take out a mortgage. Thanks Olly and team. Cant recomend enough

Normally, pubs are as generic as they come, but not the crown and anchor. Absolutely fantastic food, great value too. Great setting!

Booked a table last minute. They were very accomodating and let us choose a different table once we had arrived.(more room)
The food was of a good quality, generous portions, fair prices, friendly staff, good service. Couldn't have asked for better. Great pub food :)

I just wanted to have a wonderful Saturday outside London and I decided to visit Eastbourne. We decided to have lunch at The Crown & Anchor because it’s a Greene King pub. I had a lovely burger which was delicious, but the salad it was not washed. I am not making a drama of it! 😉.
When the waitress came with bill, my boyfriend asked if we can use the 33% Greene King discount voucher and we get a “NO” answer and “ this is not a Greene King pub”. I was very disappointed, just because everywhere you look at that pub is a GREENE KING sign.
I didn’t want to make a big issue but I didn’t feel good ☹️.
Thank you “Blondy” for the service but next time, when you are not sure about something or it’s to busy - ask you supervisor to help.
