Having played golf at all the courses in the Eastbourne area. Willingdon is quite outstanding. The course is in great condition and provides an enjoyable challenge to all abilities. The views, clubhouse and staff make for a great day out.

Don't get me wrong it is a nice golf course and friendly enough, a little clicky but then what golf course isn't? Playing the course was not even mildly challenging but then again i'm not sure it is set up to do so.
They obviously have a good greenskeeper as the course is in good condition.
There is adequate parking and the fees are not particularly expensive.

I recently booked the function room as a venue for a family occasion. The friendly and helpful staff organised the occasion so well and really made it hassle free. The views from the room are great looking right over the golf course and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the venue for any occasion. Thankyou to all the staff.

I will never play this course again. Ridiculous layout with balls crossing fairways everywhere and a driving range between two tees with this silly man hitting balls down my fairway only just missing me. To top it all on returning to the club house at 6pm on a sunny evening to find it closed.

wow what a fantastic course
some stunning tee shots ..elevated greens
some really tough par 3s the course was in emaculate condition
although the lay out can be a little querky at times it adds to the great features of the course
after the golf we had aranged sunday dinner
which was also.very very good
we will definitely be coming back here next year
on our annual golf wekend

16 of us were made very welcome. Their Captain made time for us albeit already hosting a large club event. Course was very well maintained. Good facilities. Stunning views on higher part of course. Not as windy or exposed as Eastbourne Downs. Great value

A secret find ! Tucked away and not well known this Sunday Carvery in outstanding with magnificent views overlooking the course and excellent food with service to match. Reasonably priced, you have to book to get a table on Sundays. Weekdays, the upstairs Mackenzie Lounge serves light lunches and drinks with even more magnificent views. What's not to like ?!
