Came to this pub as it was in the 50% off scheme .Excellent food and service although it was quite a long wait for dinner.However they did tell us .The 2 vegitarian dishes my daughter chose were not available but found something she could eat .Great portion size and all homemade we enjoyed our mesl

Amazing dog friendly pub. Very attentive to dogs and people alike. Brilliant selection of vegan food which tasted delightful. Would definitely recommend. Lovely staff team, lovely food. Will definitely come back again

Excellent service and was made to feel so welcome! The manager Ollie bent over backwards for us and the food was of a great quality and home made. FAULTLESS! Really did make our little getaway to Eastbourne truly memorable.

The greeting from the manager at this establishment was wonderful. Professional and courteous.
The service from all the staff was excellent. Exceptionally well managed restaurant; this made the experience so much relaxed and comfortable than some places.
The staff were conscientious, attentive and extremely pleasant.We felt we had to comment on this at the time as it very pleasing.
The food was also outstanding and good value. Highly recommended.

Not bad - clean and observing COVID precautions. Dog friendly. Mix of customers. We only had a drink but the food looked good.

Booked as seems popular...the staff are lovely...very friendly...the food was excellent...belly pork roast and steak and ale pie...nice restaurant not far from the pier...worth a visit.

We had a lovely fish and chip meal at the pub! Food was great and served very quickly even though the pub was busy. Staff were really friendly especially Kieran who served with a smile, like all of the others :) would recommend visiting for food/drinks and the menu has a lot of options. Would visit again.

We go to the Crown and anchor every year over five days with Shannon the ancient Wheaten Terrier, usually for the airshow but sadly it was not on this time, the staff were, as ever, charming and special thanks to Tiago, Kieran, Charlie the lovely Esther, Honor, and Katerina. Great food under the current challenging times, we will be back next airbourne week. You people are special.
