Fabulous hotel in a great location. The owner/manager & the staff looked after my elderly parents for the mon/Fri holiday but Friday morning dad was rushed into hospital. They looked after mom impeccably making sure she had a room and food for 3 extra nights while dad was in hospital. All the staff were super caring for both mom & dad. Made us welcome when we arrived at short notice. Thank you so so much.

Had a great stay, hotels had a bit of refurbished done in our rooms and had sea views, staff were lovely in every way, they were perfect,

Stayed here for one night ,my wife's birthday, rooms very spacious, bed very comfortable,but the view was amazing, looking over the sea in the evening was perfect, only thing I would say was the floorboards are a little squeaky ( but it is an old building) don't let that put you off. Staff very friendly & the breakfast is a must ! We parked our car at the NCP carpark two roads away £6.95 for 24 hrs very cheap. Once again thankyou and we will be coming back.

Been a view times to this hotel, rooms have always been nice size, only thing is carpets need a good clean in rooms I was in room 410 this last time. Was not happy about being delayed at reception on leaving was told I have not paid for car park when I did on each day, was then told it was there error, can't understand why you can't pay for car park for the time your staying instead of keeping doing it each day.

The building itself is extremely grand looking from the outside and in a fabulous position.
Inside some areas are a little tired but nothing too drastic.
Small car park round the back charged at £6 per night
Our rooms were lovely, spacious and with a Sea View and spotlessly clean.
We opted for Half Board which was ok - breakfast was better.
There was evening entertainment as an added bonus

My experience here is certainly better than last year.. We arrived from London Gateway around 2pm it was a good run down. My room is spacious and clean. The Hotel is lovely also the Staff, the Food has been brilliant, entertainment also good, definitely will consider returning next new year....

We had a nice sea view room, recently upgraded I should think... Dining room definitely needs TLC.... Splashes of food up the walls... Tables stained... Dirty menus.. Salt and pepper pots sticky... Buffet breakfast was adequate... Plenty of tea and coffee available. Bar area was okay... Drinks reasonably priced. We didn't eat dinner... Went out... It was cheap... But wouldn't stay there again..
