When we booked we requested a sea view. Unfortunately we did not get a sea view and were told they were fully booked up..so we had an awful view of an outside stair well. The room was spacious and clean though. We had to ask for towels as we were only given tiny hand towels, but this was rectified quickly. The window only opened slightly and we were boiling hot all night.

Old victoriana building that could do with a little maintenance. Sash windows broken in room. Thought it was a little expensive for a night as no food in price.

Lovely hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable. Bathrooms are very big, could do with a few additions to make it feel more homely but are clean and functional.
Breakfasts are tasty and appeal to every tastes.
Friendly and helpful staff.

All good except for lack of comfortable chairs for the evening entertainment, which was a bit holiday camp in style. Reception staff extremely helpful and considerate.
