Our woodlands are putting on a spectacular display of autumn colours this year. In fact, our recent late summer has helped to produce the best display of autumn leaves for the past 20 years!
Why not enjoy the spectacle with a trip to the Royal Botanic Garden. If you can’t make it during the day time, their Botanic Lights show opens this weekend and runs every evening between 29th October to 22nd November.
There’s also the UK’s largest Gin Festival, offering a chance to sample over 100 different types of gin. With talks from gin industry experts, live entertainment, food available to buy and a chance to talk with other like-minded gin lovers.
The Scottish International Storytelling Festival also starts this weekend, bringing together a large number of Scottish and international storytellers and musicians.
It’s also your last chance to catch the Creepy Crawly exhibition at Edinburgh Zoo, which ends this weekend!
But that's not all - for details of more events and happenings across the city, check out our guide here.
Enjoy your week!
