A creative intersection of musical concert and personal narrative, Welcome to My Room, follows 'Y'– a Korean expat turned New Yorker, grappling with being a forever-foreigner and navigating the complexities of living in a female body. This play aims to nurture hyphenated identities and invite the audience to explore these questions: Who are you when no one is looking? What is the true meaning of home when you don't seem to belong anywhere? An intimate play with music, Welcome to My Room, follows Y as she walks through the sensations of alienation, belonging and self-discovery.

'Welcome to my Room' is a solo show that explores the inner life of a femme Korean expat. After a sold-out run in New York, this show is being presented as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe on 2nd-4th and 6th-10th of August.
