St George's Christian Centre was initally opened to meet a requirement to serve the expanding Church and community in Ashtead.
St George’s church based in Ashtead holds a number of weekly services and congregations with a capacity of over 350 seats. The church also has a large staging area, a built in audio visual system, comprehensive lighting, a 4 meter long video screen and wireless internet access, the venue is well suited to lots a staged events i.e. concerts.
Hall- the hall has a beamed ceiling and is equipped with moving staging, wireless internet access and lighting facilities
Cafe- the building has a fully functioning kitchen with excellent catering facilities, there are serving counters open to the café and the hall, they both offer hot and chilled food services
Meeting rooms- there are four meeting rooms; on the ground floor the Quiet Room is furnished with sofas and is suitable for a small meeting and the Parish Room can accommodate up to 40 people. On the first floor the Upper Room is ideal for seated groups of up to 20 and the Roof Room seats up to 16 people. Seating, tables, audio visual facilities and wireless Internet access can be provided in the meeting rooms to suit the occasion. There are tea and coffee points servicing the rooms and a number of toilet facilities throughout the building.
Facilities for disabled- Facilities include a fully touch operated lift to the first floor rooms, ramp access to the main doors, disabled parking bays and disabled toilet facilities.
