Set just off Banstead High Street near Epsom and Ewell, Banstead Cricket Club is a long established club affiliated to Surrey Cricket Club. Offering cricket on their two pitches to all ages and abilities.

This friendly club holds regular events – including its well-known annual fireworks night. They have also recently refurbished the club house which offers private venue hire.

Whether you’re a cricketer looking to play or to become a social member. Banstead Cricket Club has something to offer everyone.

With two pitches it holds regular matches – both league and friendly. It also has a large and very active colts section offering Cricket from the age of 6 and upwards.

Nets are on throughout the year, and regular training courses are available with qualified instructors. Banstead Cricket Club has a strong affiliation with Surrey Cricket Club, and has produced Outstanding Cricket over its years.

There is no finer place for social drink than our club bar. Recently refurbished we have a friendly bar team, Sky TV, social events and of course plenty of cricket to watch from the bar terrace.

Banstead Cricket Club – History

Established in 1842, Banstead Cricket Club has seen many changes over the years.

Situated in Avenue road – and with the 12 trees lining the pitch, the angled club (now changing rooms) is a well-recognized local sight. Banstead has produced many cricketers of outstanding abilities playing for both England and Surrey. The clubhouse has some exceptional pictures of previous generations of Banstead cricketers.
