Not as responsive to a RFQ when compared to Direct Line, the tardiness might make people go elsewhere as I had to prompt BI twice to get a quote out of them. The proof will be in the pudding when it comes to actual claim processing or being read the 'small print' when a claim is denied. I'm sure they'll prove me wrong? Hence the 3 stars, for now.

No bother at all being insured with Bedford. Very competitive policys. Was involved in an accident that wasnt my fault and bedford was excellent with the support and sorting out recovery of my totalled 4x4. Only downfall was the solicitors I was supplied with as they was utter rubbish. All in all tho I was very happy with my time insured with Bedford. Unfortunately they couldn't compete with my renewal tho so I had to leave.

I recently purchased landlords insurance, and while I was happy with the price, the policy wording I thought was most unclear, and when I rang Customer Services, I thought the staff couldn't answer my questions clearly. So, I would hope the company involved with issuing the policy wording would try to make it easier to understand.

Your £90 charge for admin fee for any alteration to a policy is very expensive, most insurance companies charge no more than £50 and quite often will waiver the fee.

The only problem was that the actual Insurance figure was over £20.00 more than the quoted e-mail amount....and no explanation why. Everything else was straitforward.
