On 12 November 2024, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council’s Strategy and Resources Committee approved funding for infrastructure projects to take place over the next few years across the borough.
Epsom & Ewell Borough Council is calling on the public to take part in their consultation about a proposed Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) from 4 November. The consultation will run for 8 weeks and ends on 5 January.
The Nonsuch Park Joint Management Committee has voted to launch a 12-month pilot Commercial Dog Walking Licensing Scheme in Nonsuch Park, starting in April 2025, following a consultation with the public and dog walkers.
On 24 September, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council’s Licensing and Planning Policy Committee approved the Epsom Town Centre Masterplan. The Masterplan sets out clear and comprehensive guidelines for the development of Epsom Town Centre. The Committee also endorsed the Epsom & Ewell Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan that aims to increase walking, wheeling and cycling across the borough. Together, the plans feed into the vision of the borough and form part of the evidence base for the borough’s Draft Local Plan.
Members of Girlguiding Epsom Division are working alongside internationally renowned street artists, Positive Arts, to create a large-scale community mural in Epsom town centre.
Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, alongside partners Go Epsom, Surrey Police and The Ashley Centre, today announce they have entered an arrangement for town centre CCTV cameras to be monitored locally by The Ashley Centre’s security team, Mercury Security.
