The evening started early for the bestofteam – as we gathered with Amanda Duncan for new team photographs (soon to be revealed)! 

There were around 50 of us celebrating our 1^st anniversary of An Evening With – and there was Birthday Buzz in the air.

Our round-robin networking gave our members and visitors the chance to meet each other – and talk about their business.

We had 2 spotlights (had hoped for 3 but unfortunately Jamie Calder of Wealth Strategies was taken ill so could not attend -hope you’re feeling better Jamie).

The lovely Hayley & Clare – From This Moment Bridal Studios told us about their venture into mens’ formal wear – and had 2 mannequins displaying the slim-fit range and a very attractive highland outfit. Ideal for any formal occasions.

Jonathan Lees from the Epsom & Ewell Foodbank explained how the foodbank really works, why it is needed as a lifeline to an increasing number of people in crisis.

Nigel then talked about businesses working well together – Big Blue Print and Venti Venti  have collaborated their design skills and printing expertise and have secured a contract for a large restaurant chain – something which would not have happened working separately.

Our new staff members – Nikki Strafino and Ally Whicher were introduced.

Nikki  is our Digital Marketing Assistant – working behind the scenes she deals with events – blogs – offers and many aspects of our social media.

Ally is our Digital Marketing Executive. Ally brings to us a knowledge of digital marketing and will be leading our e-campaigns. She is working with our large – local – business database, and preparing this ready for our work in producing bespoke campaigns for our customers.

As always we enjoyed the delicious canapés provided by The Chalk Lane Hotel, and the evening ran smoothly thanks to Hannah Hall of The Sunflower Corporation our event organiser.

But the evening did not end there – to celebrate our 1^st Anniversary of An Evening With – we closed with a toast and cake – delicious cup cakes with our logo on top!

AND a wonderful operatic rendition of Happy Birthday – from local singer Phil Lord.
