Residents and visitors to Epsom & Ewell will soon be spoilt for choice as The Ashley Centre plus shops, businesses and venues prepare to host the biggest number of concurrent exhibitions of original artwork that the Borough has ever seen.
More than 20 professional artists and hundreds of semi-professional and amateur artists will be exhibiting at 16 venues for the first ever MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival.
The Ashley Centre is hosting an exhibition in the first floor area where McDonalds was. This light filled atrium gallery space will display works by local professional and semi-professional artists from Friday 24 until Sunday 26 June.
This inspiring exhibition includes diverse works by artists in a variety of media from traditional oils, acrylics and photography to textiles and live art creations.
MGSO4 Festival is a brand new three-day celebration of the arts being held in Epsom & Ewell from 24-26 June 2016. It includes music, visual arts, theatre, dance and literature. The Festival’s name, MGSO4, has been inspired by the chemical formula for Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate) which first made the area famous almost 400 years ago. MGSOO4 is a registered charity and is run by volunteers.
For full details of all exhibitions, workshops and activities, visit www.mgso4festival.org or pick up a festival programme from a participating venue.
