Oil & Vinegar
The Ashley Centre in the heart of Epsom, has welcomed some store openings in the last few weeks.
The latest retail outlet to make the Centre its home is Hatty’s Sweet Shop which opened at the end of October. Shoppers have been enjoying indulging their sweet tooth with a trip down memory lane in the shop that is bursting with nostalgia and favourite sweets.
The shop is already proving popular with Epsom shoppers who have been delighted to see some old favourites on the shelves. Ewell resident Ruth Frisby said: “I couldn’t believe it when I walked into this sweet shop! There were sweets on sale that I had completely forgotten about that I enjoyed as a child. It was great fun to share with my children some of the things we had as treats in my youth and it was brilliant to see some favourites that are still popular today.”
As well as Hatty’s Sweet Shop, Card Warehouse has relocated from the High Street into The Ashley Centre and the extended H&M now boasts two floors of the latest fashions at affordable prices as well as the new H&M children’s store which is now open. Culinary gift shop Oil & Vinegar has also opened.
Centre Manager David Beddows said: "This investment by new retailers in The Ashley Centre is great news for the local shopper and hugely encouraging for the local economy and Town Centre vitality by further strengthening of the Epsom shopping environment."
