The Ashley Centre is looking for a local charity to support throughout 2017. The lucky charity will be given free space for fundraising in the Centre and help with promotion of their events.
Girlguiding Epsom was chosen as a previous supported charity and Division Commissioner Jill Popham said: “We were delighted and very grateful to The Ashley Centre for choosing us to be their charity of the year as it gave us the opportunity to hold many fundraising events including raffles, bag packing, sales and crafts. As well as the thousands of pounds these events raised we were also able to increase the profile of Girlguiding locally and as a result many local girls enrolled as Rainbows, Brownies and Guides plus we recruited more volunteers to help us! It was a wonderful partnership and The Ashley Centre couldn’t have been more supportive.”
Charities who would like to be considered as the chosen charity for 2017 should email info@theashleycentre.co.uk with details of who they are, what they are raising money for and what they would like to do to fundraise within the Centre. Please note only local charities will be considered.
