The annual Ewell Village Fair attracted the crowds despite the weather on Saturday.
The event, organised by St Mary’s Church, in the grounds of Glyn House, Ewell, had a wide variety of attractions on offer.
Visitors enjoyed displays from the Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men and from the Southern Golden Retriever Dog Display Team and could choose from a selection of teas, coffees, cakes, lunches and ice creams.
There were also pony rides, stalls, a children’s fancy dress competition, a bouncy castle, a Punch and Judy show, and tours of the churchyard - including to the excavation site where amateur archaeologists are looking for evidence of Roman settlement.
Two choirs from the Fitznells Music and Drama Centre, Starlets and Tenors, and Divas, sang on the day, alongside a performance from its concert band. The band said it was grateful for all those who donated money to the Royal Marsden Hospital at its concert.
The mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Christine Long, was among the visitors to the fair.
