Dawson Mason & Carr Solicitors in Guildford is to merge with TWM Solicitors, in a move to take effect from 2 April 2012.
Mark Carr and Mike Dawson will become partners at TWM, while Jo Cayne (Assistant Solicitor) and Kim Monahan (PA) will also join the Firm. Dawson Mason & Carr have been an established legal name on Guildford's High Street since 1979, with an excellent reputation in both residential conveyancing services and commercial property. From 2 April, the team will relocate to TWM's Guildford office at 65 Woodbridge Road, with the Dawson Mason & Carr 69 High Street office closing.
Mark Carr at Dawson Mason & Carr said: "This move presents an exciting opportunity for us and one we believe that will benefit our clients. Becoming part of a larger firm with a broader service offering means our clients can have all of their legal work done in one place. Mike and I will continue to offer the same high levels of personal service for which I hope we are known for, but with the support of a modern and progressive firm in TWM, one of the largest legal names in the area".
Howard House, Senior Partner at TWM Solicitors said: "We are delighted to welcome Mark, Mike, Jo and Kim to TWM. Theirs is a high quality property practice and our firms share similar values; an emphasis on service and lasting relationships with clients. On a selfish note, it is particularly pleasing to be able to call Mark a colleague, since we go back over 40 years having studied together at University in Southampton".
