When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
This week 7th September the following items are needed:
Dried rice/packet rice/instant rice - urgent
Cooking sauces (not pasta sauce - sweet and sour, chilli, mushroom etc) - urgent
Sugar (ideally small bags) - urgent
Long-life juice - urgent
Dried milk - urgent
Tinned veg - urgent
Packet soup/cuppa soup - urgent
Chocolate/treats - urgent
Squash - urgent
Sponge puddings - urgent
Instant mash - urgent
Instant noodles (ideal for people who only have access to a kettle for cooking) - urgent
Tinned meat (chilli con carne, stew, chicken casserole, ham, corned beef, frankfurter)
Biscuits
Ketchup/brown sauce
Honey/peanut butter
Tinned Fish
Tinned spaghetti
Sponge puddings
Tinned potatoes
Hot chocolate
Please note that the Epsom and Ewell Foodbank do not need any toilet rolls or feminine products and they still have a good stock of baked beans, tinned soup and dried pasta.
