When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
This week 5th October the following items are needed:
Dried rice/packet rice/instant rice
Cooking sauces (not pasta sauce - sweet and sour, chilli, mushroom etc.)
Sugar (ideally small bags as these are lighter for people to carry)
Long-life juice
Dried milk
Tinned veg - we have a good supply of tinned corn but do need other vegetables
Packet soup/cuppa soup - light to carry and ideal if you only have access to a kettle
Chocolate/treats - always in short supply
Squash
Sponge puddings - these are always in short supply
Instant mash
Ladies deodorant
Washing up liquid
Shaving foam
Tinned meat (chilli con carne, stew, chicken casserole, ham, corned beef, frankfurters, hot dogs)
Biscuits
Ketchup/brown sauce
Honey/peanut butter
Tea
Tinned spaghetti
Tinned potatoes
Hot chocolate
Dog/cat food
Please note that the Epsom and Ewell Foodbank do not need any toilet rolls, feminine products, adult toothbrushes, baby food/milk, pulses, baby wipes, pump soap. The foodbank also still have a good stock of baked beans, tinned soup and dried pasta.
Many thanks for your continued support
