When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
This week 15th February the following items are needed:
Tinned potatoes
Tinned rice pudding
Tinned/pkt custard
Long life milk - full fat and semi-skimmed (blue/green top)
Long life sponge puddings
Tinned spaghetti
Peanut butter, honey, jam
Washing powder
Washing liquid - we are constantly asked for this and usually have a very limited supply. Whilst the top brands can be expensive Wilko are currently selling smallish bottles at a much-reduced cost. All supermarkets sell their own brand and a small bottle cost less than £2.
Toilet rolls
Shaving foam
Men’s deodorant
Brown sauce, mayonnaise
Washing up liquid
Nappies - sizes 1 only. We have a good stock of other sizes.
