When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
This week 6th September the following items are needed:
We have now fed over 19000 people since opening our doors in 2012. We are now giving out an additional 1.7 tonnes per month compared to last year. As you can imagine that is a lot of extra food and your support is as essential as ever if we are to continue helping local people in food crisis.
Please see our current wish list below - (The items in bold are our most needed items)

Tinned veg
Tinned spaghetti
Long life fruit juice
Long life sponge puddings
Fruit squash
Tinned fruit
Instant mash
Noodles
Baby shampoo
Tinned meat pies
Tinned tomatoes
Small bags of sugar
Pasta sauce
Peanut butter/chocolate spread
Dried/powdered milk
Custard
UHT milk - Semi skimmed and full fat
Shower gel
Shaving foam
Tea
Washing up liquid
Clothes washing powder/liquid
Summer holiday treats - chocolate, sweets, crisps etc
Please note that our next fundraising event is a curry night at Tamarind Spice, Ewell on the 17th September. The cost is £20 per person for a set menu. This is a very popular event so if you would like to come I would recommend that you let me know as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. there are currently a few tickets available.
