When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
This week 13th December the following items are needed:
Things are very busy at the warehouse as we continue to be inunndated with donations of food, toys and gifts. The generosity of local people will ensure that all of our clients will be given a little 'Christmas Spirit' and know that their community wishes them well.
Our wish list is fairly short and quite precise -
Sugar - preferably 500g bags
Tinned meat, pies etc
Dried milk
Shampoo/conditioner
Cooking sauces
Instant coffee
Long life sponge puddings
Shaving foam
Nappies - size 6 and size 6 + only
Tinned veg including sweetcorn
Other items form part of our Christmas Appeal as follows -
New towels
New sets of matching mugs
Monetary donation towards our Fresh Christmas dinner appeal
Monetary donation towards our winter energy appeal.
