When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
As always I hope that you and your loved ones continue to be well and healthy.
We have managed to do a quick stock check and find ourselves in need of the following items -
Tinned meat
Tinned potatoes
Custard
Hot chocolate
Long life sponge puddings
Fruit squash
Dog food
Tins of pasta/beans with sausages
Packets of dried pasta in sauce
Washing powder/capsules/ tablets
Washing up liquid
Single adult toothbrushes (we have lots of multi packs)
Ladies deodorant
Sugar
We are very grateful for all donations but now find that we are overstocked on the following items so would prefer not to receive any more for the time being -
Pasta/rice
Baked beans
Tinned soup
Breakfast cereal/porridge
Pasta sauce/ cooking sauces
Tinned fish
Long life milk
Tea/coffee
Tinned rice pudding
Pulses
Sweetcorn
Noodles
Biscuits
The majority of supermarkets still have collection bins which we empty on a regular basis. Alternatively food can be dropped off at our warehouse in Ruxley,Lane Ewell. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Please note that we will not be open on Monday 25th May which is a Bank Holiday.
