When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
As always I hope that you and your loved ones continue to be well and healthy.
We continue to be busy but fortunately food donations are matching demand.
In fact due to limited storage space we are currently overstocked with the following items and have no room to store more at this time - baby wipes, porridge, tinned soup, long life milk, pasta sauces and pulses. However as we are feeding a record number of people I have no doubt I will be asking for these items in another month or so.
Whilst stocks are very good we do need the following items -
Tinned potatoes
Custard
Fruit squash
Tins of pasta/beans with sausages
Packets of dried pasta in sauce
Washing up liquid
Noodles
Sugar - small bags if possible
Shaving Gel/foam
Bar soap
Cereal
Cooking sauces
Tinned fruit
Packet soup
Powdered milk
Chocolate/treats
Hair conditioner
Microwave rice
Long life fruit juice
Peanut butter
The majority of supermarkets still have collection bins which we empty on a regular basis. Alternatively food can be dropped off at our warehouse in Ruxley,Lane Ewell. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm for dropping donations , except Thursday when last time for donations is 2pm. Please note that we do not open on Bank Holidays.
If you have a voucher then please contact us with information about your household on one of the numbers below. If you cannot physically get a voucher then please contact your agency who can contact us. Thanks
