When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the necessities they need to live.
For many of you Harvest Festivals will shortly be taking place. If your Church, School or organisation is thinking of donating the food to the Foodbank then please let us know. We are in the process of planning how we can deal with the donations in the most efficient manner. If you will require the collection to be picked up then we will need as much notice as possible. We cannot gurantee being able to collect food with no prior notice. As you can imagine our resources are a little limited at the current time so careful planning is essential.
As previously mentioned we do have a very good stock of many of the basic items - baked beans, soup, tinned tomatoes etc - which we are paying to store offsite, so please donate only the items on the following list -
Very Urgently Needed:
Tinned Fruit
Tinned Spaghetti
Tinned Pasta/Beans with Meat

The majority of supermarkets still have collection bins which we empty on a regular basis. Alternatively food can be dropped off at our warehouse in Ruxley,Lane Ewell. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm for dropping donations , except Thursday when last time for donations is 2pm. Please note that we do not open on Bank Holidays.
Due to current school start and finish times please avoid 8.30am to 9am and 2.45pm to 3.15pm. It may be busy outside those times so as always please drive carefully
Many thanks for your continued help and support.
Please note that the office is not open every day and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
