Epsom & Ewell Sports and leisure Council in partnership with Epsom & Ewell Borough Council are introducing Epsom & Ewell's first ever sports awards.

The wards will recognise the Borough's local sporting talents and achievements as well as rewarding local volunteers, coaches and clubs.

The 10 awards on offer are:

GLL Sports Personality of the Year Award
Epsom Gymnastics and Trampoline Club Young Sports Personality of the Year Award
Aon Hewitt Sports Club of the Year Award
Active Surrey Coach of the Year Award
The Ashley Centre Sports Team of the Year Award
AFC Ewell Young Sports Team of the Year Award
Epsom & Ewell Football Club Disability Sports Award
The Rotary Club Outstanding Service to Sport Award
Epsom & Ewell Colts Football Club Volunteer of the Year Award
Surrey County Playing Fields Association Young Volunteer of the Year Award.

The awards evening will take place on 29 September 2011 at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

Nominations close on 31 August 2011.
