Borough residents, visitors and the town workers are being asked for their views on a whole range of topics including – parking – shopping – CCTV.
The survey is being compiled by the borough’s local strategic partnership – which includes members of the public. Businesses and voluntary groups.
Town Centre Development Manager Adam Worley said the results of the survey, which will be made public, will provide vital evidence that will be used by the council to shape the development of the town centre. He added that the plan is hold an annual survey from now on so that they can regularly monitor what people think about the town centre.
The survey will run from 17th February to 7th march – and one lucky participant will be chosen at random – to win a £100 hamper of goodies.
